Following are the high level steps for installing Oracle EPM 11.1.2.2
1. Download the components from E-delivery
2. Extract the files to the selected folder:
3. Start with the installation. Execute installtool.cmd as admin user
4. You will see the following Installer 11.1.2.2
5. Make sure that all the prerequisites are met before proceeding further and follow the procedure.
6. Give the path where you want to install EPM components
7. There is an option for a New installation or for Applying Maintenance release. [We will see new installation]
8. Check the required components
9. Verify that all the installation is done properly:
10. Select Oracle Instance home:
11. Setting up Database for Shared Service:
12. Select the components to be configured and follow the screenshots:
13. Give username and password for the Application server
14. EPM 11.1.2.2 has an option to deploy the components to single managed server to reduce the startup time and management of services.
15. Observe that you can set shared services name in the configuration itself.
16. You can choose the web server that you want to configure the EPM components on, Oracle HTTP server is not mandatory:
17. Observe the services and check for the new services:
18. You can also create a report if there are any errors in between while you were performing configuration.
19. Finally you can Fusion Middleware control to check the products that are deployed and you can manage the components through this:
